SEC - Sectional
Overhead Doors
Description:
Clark's
sectional overhead doors (SEC) are power or manually operated to suit
your needs. Vertical tracks, torsion spring counter balance and door
rollers are designed for smooth easy operation to fit applications with
limited side room. Door seals tightly on frame with inclined door track.
High lift design is available.
Applications:
Clark sectional overhead
doors ideally fit those applications with limited side room, typically,
refrigerated loading docks and narrow corridors. Door can be used
interior or exterior.
Construction:
Face Mounted Frame: Vertical casings and header are Arctic white
reinforced pultruded fiberglass. Casings and header are factory drilled
and marked for rapid field assembly and perfect alignment.
Panel:
Door panel sections are constructed with 18 Ga. #304 2B stainless steel
perimeter channel, joined at corner sections with aluminum-magnesium
cast corners, and clad with 26 Ga. G-90 galvanized steel, white painted
with non-directional stucco embossed pattern. Finish paint to be
Imperial white modified polyester with a dry film thickness of 1.0 mil
inclusive of primer coat. All seams to be sealed. Meets USDA-MID and
Agriculture Canada requirements.
Track:
3" 10 ga. galvanized "J" track and hardware factory mounted on casings.
Door glides down and in on inclined track for positive seal and
immediate clearance of gaskets when opening.
Power Drive:
TEFC fractional HP synchronous AC motor coupled to 20:1 worm gear in oil
bath totally enclosed for life. Adjustable, precision machined torque
limiter designed to slip on overload only. Smooth, quiet operation with
"soft" start and stop. Operates at average speed of 20 inches per
second. (2) remote pullcords for open/ close controls. Control voltage
24 vac. Entire system NEMA 4 standard. Full width, instant reverse
safety edge-non-electric. Drive chain to be fully enclosed in galvanized
steel drive track. Optional chain hoist available on manual doors or as
back up on power driven doors.
Insulation:
Clark doors are filled with NON-CFC polyurethane insulation "R"-7.8 per
inch that provides outstanding strength and rigidity to the door as well
as excellent thermal and acoustical performance. The insulation is
injected to fill the door without voids. Steel facings are chemically
fused to the insulation to provide vapor tight construction.
Controls:
- Pull cord control is standard
supplied with heavy duty cast aluminum 24 vac switches (heated
inside freezer application).
- Time delay option available to
automatically close the door.
- Induction floor loops are available
to automatically reverse the door if the opening is obstructed or to
automatically close the door after the traffic has passed through.
- Radio and infra-red controls are
available as a vehicle operated system of door control.
Features:
- Top mounted, high cycle
torsion spring.
- Instant reverse full width
bottom safety edge.
- Automatic latching device
(manual doors only). Keep door from rebounding open upon
closing.
- Permanently lubricated door
roller bearings.
- Adjustable bulb type seals
on perimeter.
- Panel sections fully
gasketed.
- Panel sections heated at
gasket areas to prevent freezing.

- Optional finishes include 22
or 24 gauge galvanized steel with or without stucco
embossing and paint-Aluminum and stainless steel surfaces
are available, KayonTM
(PVC) plastic wear surfaces on door and frame.
